our story
Founded in 1991
Room To Go Inc. was incorporated in 1991 by Harold Ross in response to the Ontario Government’s decision to provide better sanitary facilities to construction workers. “We had already been supplying washroom trailers to larger projects – in fact we put our first washroom trailer (“Washcar”) on the road in 1973 as part of our Ruston Leasing Ltd. Fleet”, says Ross. “When the new legislation came in we needed to develop a compact, self-contained model for smaller construction projects and we did and were surprised to learn that the little washroom had more appeal to the special events market than it did to the construction industry”.
Our modern restrooms are maintained in the best possible condition, delivered and set up by one of our professional, courteous delivery people and backed by the best service team in the industry.
We do not have, nor do we strive to have one of the biggest fleets in our industry. What we do have is a “Restroom Boutique” stocked with the best products available to satisfy our market: whether it be a single self-contained restroom for the smallest of jobsites or a custom built “Ladies First” washroom trailer carefully tailored to cater to the mid-size wedding reception.
Our restrooms are maintained in the best possible condition, delivered and set up by one of our professional, courteous delivery people and backed by the best service team in the industry.
Early in 2017 Harold’s “Exit Plan” shifted into high gear leaving the company in the capable hands of long-term partners – Keri Ross and Chris Montgomery, fully confident that this young team will face the future with the same enthusiasm that has driven RTG from the start.
Our industry and the needs of our customers are constantly changing and the RTG team will continue to bring new ideas and new products to the marketplace fully cognisant of the changes and requirements as they emerge.
